Termite Inspections & Reports

Skippy provides all-inclusive termite inspections for South East Queensland residents.

Whether you need a pre-purchase termite inspection for a new home, an annual termite inspection, a warranty termite inspection or an insurance termite inspection, Skippy has you covered. Give us a call today on 07 3803 0698 to arrange a consultation or fill out our contact form and one of our helpful and friendly staff will contact you.

One of Skippy’s termite inspections usually takes around an hour. During this time our professionals will visually inspect the inside and outside of the dwelling as well as fences and trees on the property for termites. Our Termatrac coupled with our extensive knowledge of the signs of termite activity will identify any potential problems.

We will provide you with information regarding the past, present and possibly future infestations of termites around the property. We will also give you a full run down of any termite protection currently in place and the life expectancy of this protection. If needed, we will sit down and discuss the best termite treatment for your individual situation and provide a written quote if you request.

A comprehensive written report of the termite inspection is compiled and presented to you upon completion.

Typically there are four reasons to get termite inspections:

1. Pre-purchase home termite inspection.

Before purchasing a house, a termite inspection is conducted with a building & pest inspection. This is highly recommended if you are about to purchase a property.

2. Annual termite inspection.

It is recommended that an inspection be undertaken every 12 months. Having Skippy conduct these inspections on or before the 12 month anniversary of a treatment allows for the renewal of your service warranty.

3. Warranty termite inspection.

Certain types of buildings, styles of construction, or the location of the building may require warranty inspections at increments specified by treatment certificate limitations. This may mean an inspection is carried out every 3, 4 or 6 months, rather than the usual annual termite inspections.

4. Insurance termite inspection.

This termite inspection ensures home owners comply for timber replacement insurance to the value of $100,000.00. There are strict conditions applying to this type of termite inspection and you should consult with our professionals for more information.
